A counselor for over thirty years in the Orlando area, Bill Brislin enjoys helping individuals reach their highest potential by removing obstacles to growth and healing. He has extensive experience with anxiety, depression, loss, transition, trauma, and sexual abuse.
Bill Brislin, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (MH-4281), is a certified EMDR therapist, trained to practice clinical hypnosis, and experienced as a clinical supervisor for counseling interns. Additionally, he is a National Certified Counselor and an EMDRIA “Approved Consultant” in EMDR.
Through his volunteer work with Trauma Recovery/EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Programs, Bill is a trainer for EMDR Basic Training and for the EMDR Recent Traumatic Episodes and Group Traumatic Episodes Protocols (R-TEP/G-TEP). He also facilitates EMDR Basic Training for the EMDR Institute and offers advanced trainings and group consultation through Connect EMDR Training and Consulting.
Bill holds a B. Mus. in Music Therapy and a M.A. in Counseling from The Catholic University of America, Washington, DC, and an M.A. in Liturgical Studies from the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, Indiana.

Bill is no longer a participating-provider in any insurance panels. If you wish to be reimbursed by your insurance carrier, verify that your plan allows you to see out-of-network providers. Some aspects of your privacy may be compromised when utilizing insurance. Please note: A separate out-of-network deductible may be required by your insurance company before any reimbursement will be paid.
Most clients prefer to pay directly for counseling services to protect their privacy and treatment options. Fees are based on length of scheduled session: 45-minutes = $120 (standard session); 60-minutes = $150; 90-minutes = $180. In addition to cash or check, all major credit cards are accepted.
Clinical Hours –
Appointment availability varies weekly. Bill’s calendar is usually filled two to four weeks out. New clients are accepted as availability permits.

If you are uncertain about anything or do not wish to disclose in writing, leave that item blank and you can discuss it with your therapist.
Consent to Release or Share Information
If you are an existing client and have requested that information be shared with a third party on your behalf, you will be asked to complete the following form in the office. If you make the request between sessions, you can print out the form below and FAX it to Bill Brislin, LMHC @ (407) 282-0552. A copy should also be provided to the other person if they serve you in a professional capacity.
