Bill BrislinA counselor for over thirty years in the Orlando area, Bill Brislin enjoys helping individuals reach their highest potential by removing obstacles to growth and healing. He has extensive experience with anxiety, depression, loss, transition, trauma, and sexual abuse.

Bill Brislin, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (MH-4281), is a certified EMDR therapist, certified in clinical hypnosis, and experienced as a clinical supervisor for counseling interns. Additionally, he is a National Certified Counselor and an EMDRIA “Approved Consultant” in EMDR.

Through his volunteer work with Trauma Recovery/EMDR Humanitarian Assistance Programs, Bill is a trainer for EMDR Basic Training. An approved trainer for the EMDR Recent Traumatic Episodes and Group Traumatic Episodes Protocols (R-TEP/G-TEP), he offers EMDR Basic Training, other advanced trainings and group consultation through Connect EMDR Training and Consulting.

Bill holds a B. Mus. in Music Therapy and a M.A. in Counseling from The Catholic University of America, Washington, DC, and an M.A. in Liturgical Studies from the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, Indiana.

Master Class for Complex Trauma This group is intended to assist EMDR therapists acquire greater effectiveness in treating complex trauma and dissociation. This group begins once or twice per year. Click here for details and to register.

Bill is no longer a participating-provider in any insurance panels. If you wish to be reimbursed by your insurance carrier, verify that your plan allows you to see out-of-network providers. Some aspects of your privacy may be compromised when utilizing insurance. Please note: A separate out-of-network deductible may be required by your insurance company before any reimbursement will be paid.

Clinical Fees

Most clients prefer to pay directly for counseling services to protect their privacy and treatment options. Fees are based on length of scheduled session:

  • 45-50 minutes  = $130 (standard session)
  • 60-minutes = $150
  • 90-minutes = $195

In addition to cash or check, all major credit cards are accepted.

Clinical Hours –
Appointment availability varies weekly. Bill’s calendar is usually filled two to four weeks out. New clients are accepted as availability permits. 

  • Tuesday – 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Wednesday – 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Forms for Clients

After an appointment is made, you will receive an email invitation to my secure client portal. Inside the portal you can complete the intake forms prior to your first appointments. Active clients (i.e., seen in the previous 3 months) can update their address, phone number, credit card information, etc.
